Two real houses bring Progetto Fuoco 2016 to life
The MCZ Group charms visitors in Verona
The most important European event in the wood sector, Progetto Fuoco, concluded in Verona on Sunday. The area of the MCZ Group stands that covers more than one thousand square metres certainly left its mark on the exhibitors of Progetto Fuoco. Focusing on emotions and on the feelings experienced, the company set up all domestic uses of fire in two real houses, ranging from the most conventional, such as the wood-burning fireplace in the living area, to the more unusual ones, such as the ultra-silent sealed pellet stove for the bathroom or the bedroom.
The two layouts intended to re-create a specific atmosphere: the first, refined and relaxed and the second, more convivial and elegantly retro.
THE FIRST "HOUSE": RELAXATION FOR REFINED TRAVELLERS
Let's imagine a couple that love beau vivre, sophisticated, romantic and demanding. Their fire must have high performance and efficiency, able to offer maximum comfort and design lines simultaneously.
The fireplace of the Forma series by MCZ, with the bright glass air vents, proposed exclusively by MCZ, or the new Club Hydromatic hydro stove, designed to operate for long periods with no user action being required, would be perfect for them. Both products were inserted in a basic and refined living area. Among the protagonists of this area we find Plan, a linen blend sofa by Italiandivani, which allows for a set up that is always new by rearranging the seats and backrests. The same playful spirit is repeated in the metal library Network by Casamania: thermoformed leatherette panels are inserted into its slim and modular structure, which can be moved as desired, creating a personalised composition at any time.
Fire is once again the absolute protagonist in the "sleeping" area. The new stove Curve by MCZ can be easily installed even in the bedroom. In fact, its completely sealed structure draws oxygen from the outside and maintains absolute comfort in the room. In addition, the higher and deeper firebox allows the flame to rise with a visual effect that is absolutely comparable with the wood fire. A flame to be admired softly embraced by the upholstered bed Sommier by Italianadivani, made of pure linen with flounce finishing.
In the "dining" area, our couple of travellers sits around a superb solid wood table that creates the perfect setting for the MCZ Forma T50 three-sided fireplace. Created by Inulivo with two unique 7 cm thick olive wood antique panels, minimally processed and inserted into a metal frame with natural paint.
A "working" area has been furnished around the MCZ Vivo 85 Hydro fireplace, as thin as a plasma television with the heating almost effective as a boiler. Travelling collections are placed on a delightful multi-coloured container. This is Legato by Casamania, distinguished by the particular shape of the doors, neither square nor round, with no precise geometry and inspired by the works of the artist, Ellsworth Kelly.
Lastly, the bathroom area, where the new MCZ Halo stove was installed, which is also 100% airtight. The mirror and the sink in Corian®, in oriental style, combined with solid elm accessories, belong to the Fonte collection by Rexa Design. The ottomans are the original Stone by Italianadivani, with their irregular and rounded shape, reminiscent of a river pebble.
THE SECOND HOUSE: WELCOMING SPACES FOR THE FAMILY
The second layout has been designed to accommodate a large family: for them the fire is a time of sharing and conviviality.
The fire can also be used for cooking, just like with the excellent Country by J.Corradi, a high performing wood-burning range cooker that allows ancient techniques to be experienced with modern tools. Therefore, excellent dishes, to be enjoyed on one of the two dining tables proposed by Casamania: Pontoon, more formal, rigorous lines, created in black stained natural oak, or Meduse, entertaining and witty with its iconic and sprawling shape, created with a smoked glass top and bronze painted metal frame. The set is complemented by Deco's hypnotic flame, the new MCZ pellet stove, soft, natural and dancing just like a wood-burning fire, and with original cutting boards and small tables designed by Inulivo.
The relax area is heated by Berg, the new steatite pellet stove, created for the Arco brand, which is also sealed and with a natural flame to be observed from a spectacular cotton velvet turquoise coloured couch (Metropole Capitonné by Italianadivani). The cupboards from the Toshi by Casamania collection are the ideal complement, whose geometric design of the doors are reminiscent of the mosaic decorations in some Tokyo buildings
Lastly, the living room, dominated by a great lady of class, Maria Sofia, the new pellet stove by Sergio Leoni designed by Monica Graffeo. The stove is a jewel; its ceramic surface comes to life with suggestive light reflections. Next to the lady, a refined gentleman of English taste: it is New Seventy, by Italianadivani, square-shaped and of substantial thickness, softened by the protruding seam.
